Suicide prevention is everybody’s business
You don’t need to be a healthcare professional to know the warning signs and start an open conversation about suicide—ASIST and safeTALK suicide awareness training workshops equip you with the knowledge, skill and confidence to help someone at risk of suicide.
About 4,000 Canadians die by suicide every year. No matter the age of the person or the circumstances surrounding their death, each life lost to suicide painfully and forever alters that person’s family, friends and community. The good news is that suicide can often be prevented.
