Alison Kyte, Wellness Programs Coordinator
Alison has an MA in Leadership from Royals Roads University and a BA in Social Sciences from the University of Victoria. She has worked in the mental health field for over 19 years, first with children and youth in residential, school and community settings, and then with adults and seniors when she joined CMHA in 2008.
Her work at CMHA is focused on two goals: (1) recovery for people with lived experience of mental health challenges and (2) mental health promotion and prevention for all members of the community.
Alison enjoys facilitating collaborative community action and guiding leadership development as part of her role. Social innovation and food security are two significant areas of interest.
