Housing First, Rapid Rehousing and Market Rental Supportive Housing
Our team provides recovery-oriented and harm reduction focused case management and housing support to complex and vulnerable individuals. Caseloads are small (10-15 max) in order to provide quality services to our community’s most at-risk and marginalized individuals. Referrals to our case management team are made by through the Coordinated Access Table chaired by BC Housing. Clients referred to Housing First Case Management must be chronically homeless and not connected to other case management supports. To refer yourself or someone you are supporting to our case management team, please submit a Supportive Housing Registration (SHR) Service Form to BC Housing.
SYNERGY
Synergy is designed as a centralized resource hub aimed at reducing barriers by bringing a range of community services together in one convenient location. Its mission is to close service gaps and support individuals in achieving their personal and practical goals, while cultivating a welcoming and connected community environment. Reflecting its name, Synergy represents the collaboration of multiple agencies working toward common objectives. Current services include space for ministry outreach workers, in-house counselling, referrals to supports such as Mental Health and Substance Use services, assistance with birth certificate applications, and a tax clinic offered through the Community Volunteer Income Tax Program (CVITP). Efforts are ongoing to expand the range of available resources to better meet community needs.
