CMHA’s ArtWorks studio was commissioned by Interior Health to create a painting to hang in the new Interior Health Building. This beautiful mural represents a collective desire for health and wellness in communities throughout the interior region.
This was a really fun and collaborative project involving Interior Health, CMHA, and the art community. Local artist Tina Siddiqui led this group project, while the design and creation of the painting was a collaboration of many ArtWorks studio program participants who use art as a tool to improve their own wellbeing. Interior Health staff members also shared their personal and professional desires and vision for a healthy interior region as part of the design process. Be sure to check it out once the new building is open!
