Mental Health Week 2016 was a HUGE Success! Stay Tuned for Highlights and Photos!

Go to www.OKGETLOUD.com to take the pledge to talk, show, and share about mental health.

#GETLOUD for CMHA’s 65th Annual Mental Health Week!

Mental Health Week is May 2-8 and we are challenging YOU to #GETLOUD! This means taking action and using your voice to raise awareness and build support. For someone at work. For someone at home. For yourself.

#GETLOUD to maintain positive mental health. #GETLOUD to get it back. Because the louder we all get, the bigger difference we will make. And there’s a lot of difference to be made.

Don’t forget to show your community how you are getting loud for mental health by using #OKGETLOUD or tagging @CMHAKelowna on Facebook and Twitter.

WORKPLACES: Want help choosing your Mental Health Week activities? Send us an email and we’ll work one-on-one with you to come up with a plan.Once you know what you’ll be doing, send us updates and photos as you go for a chance to win awesome prizes for your workplace! Your Mental Health Week activities can also strengthen your workplace’s nomination for the 2016 Mentally Healthy Workplace Award. Want to be considered for the award? You can email us about that, too!

About Mental Health Week: CMHA introduced Mental Health Week (MHW) in 1951 to raise awareness of mental illness in Canada. Today, MHW offers practical ways to maintain and improve mental health and support recovery from mental illness and addictions.
